No doubt you’re familiar with old favourites like smooshed bananas and berries, but have you thought about adding some new smoothie ingredients to your repertoire?
Superfood smoothies are an easy way to pack much-needed nutrients into your diet, as well keeping your tastebuds inspired with plenty of flavour. We recommend adding superfood ingredients to a yogurt-based smoothie, to add some extra protein.

They’re also rich in vitamin C, vital for supporting immunity and general health. Our top tip? Soak the berries in water overnight for optimal blending!
Maca is a Peruvian plant grown in the Andes mountains. Now available in powder form, this easy smoothie ingredient has been shown by this study to improve mood and energy. Flavour-wise, maca is nutty and sweet, making it a great superfood for smoothies.
Turmeric contains curcumin, a compound that may help support joint health. Try it with yoghurt, frozen mango, banana and ginger for a brightly coloured nutrient blast!
