Jalapeno Poppers

We’ve discovered your next favourite bite-sized appetiser! These vegetarian Jalapeno poppers are cheesy, spicy and sure to impress at your next get together!



  • 12 jalapenos
  • ½ cup EasiYo Greek Style Unsweetened Yogurt
  • ½ cup cheese, grated
  • 1 Tbsp chives, chopped
  • 1 tsp garlic, grated
  • ½ tsp onion powder
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ⅛ tsp paprika
  • 4 Tbsp panko bread crumbs

Mint yogurt

  • ½ cup of EasiYo Greek Style Unsweetened Yogurt
  • 1 tsp lemon juice
  • 2 Tbsp mint, chopped
  • Pinch of salt and pepper


  1. Preheat oven to 180°C and line a baking tray with baking paper.
  2. Halve the jalapenos and use a teaspoon to scoop out the seeds. It is highly recommended to wear gloves to prevent transferring chili to your hands.
  3. In a small bowl, combine yogurt, cheese, chives, garlic, onion powder, salt and paprika and mix well.
  4. Fill each jalapeno with yogurt mixture and top with panko bread crumbs.
  5. Drizzle or spray with oil, and bake for 15 minutes, or till golden on top.
  6. Combine mint yogurt ingredients together and serve on the side of jalapeno poppers.
